Confession - Dirty Little Secret

I have a confession to make. I used to feel so smug because my kitchen didn't have a junk drawer.  Everyone has one, right?  I thought I was the queen of organization because my kitchen didn't have the space for a junk drawer.  My coupons are organized in an envelope.  Take out menus have a little bin.  The worst offender in my kitchen was an old flower pot that held some batteries, a nightlight, and some gift cards.  That made me better than everyone else who had a junk drawer in their kitchen, right?

Wrong.

So, very, very, very wrong.  It's WORSE.

Look away, don't stare for too long.  You may go blind!

I have a junk CABINET!!!  It's probably the size of 50 kitchen junk drawers.  It's in my bathroom, of all places, and it's my dirty little secret.

Ok, it's kinda organized.  Photo albums on the top shelf.  Craft stuff and candles on the bottom, and a little of both worlds on the middle shelf.  But...in my eyes it's far worse than a kitchen junk drawer due to its size and the amount of stuff I keep cramming into it. 

I browse lots of blogs on here and some of the more crafty, thrifty, on-it, women would follow up with an after picture of their newly organized, so fresh, cleaned out, beautified cabinet.  I'm not going to do that.  I know where everything is and I haven't run out of space yet.  I just wanted to give myself a reality check and share that just because my KITCHEN doesn't have a junk drawer doesn't mean my BATHROOM can't.  To anyone reading, open your kitchen junk drawer and smile that it's so cute and compact and a billion times smaller than my cabinet.
